iMessage Security: Analysis of Possible Attacks

The following presentation I gave for my Cryptography and Data Security course at WPI explores possible attacks on the iMessage protocol and challenges Apple’s claim that it cannot decrypt this data.

…conversations which take place over iMessage and FaceTime are protected by end-to-end encryption so no one but the sender and receiver can see or read them. Apple cannot decrypt that data.
